What is it?
A gynaecological pelvic exam is essential to the general health of all women assigned at birth (aged 21-65) , yet many individuals often avoid or fear these examinations as they cause stress or pain.
I set to question how we could change this, and so began the journey of Elevia...

Redefining Gynaecological Pelvic Examinations
I found that the main factors that caused patients stress and discomfort were- the lack of control, daunting nature of the tools and discomfort of the overall environment.
Elevia seeked to reinvent the nature of these examinations, by putting a sense of control back ‘into patients’ hands’, removing the power dynamic that exists in current day examinations.
